Formed in 1974 Sandwell Scaffold has undergone various transformations into the company that operates today.

We are a specialist scaffolding company based in Northampton and Manchester allowing us service a vast majority of the UK.

At Sandwell Scaffold we have a common aim within our company and that is repeat business from our existing customers and obtaining new relations with reputable business’ who share our ethos.

With repeat customers we are able to have early involvement in the projects to provide simple and complex solutions to be able to stay within the budget of the project and to provide realistic quotations that are fitting and bespoke to our clients.

Many of our new and existing customers have stated how refreshing it is to work with us compared to others within the trade.

Service

Service has always been at the forefront of what we do and how we treat customers.

Our aim is your complete satisfaction and to this end we have a simple philosophy. We listen and then we react. Our depots are open from 07.00 to 17.00, but we offer true 24/7 service for emergency work, just telephone our depot number to be put through to a member of staff day or night.

All telephone calls are recorded and both calls and emails are monitored regularly to ensure that our customers are fully supported.

Materials

We purchase new materials that either conform to, or exceed British & European standards.

We have extensive stocks of galvanized tube, fittings, stair towers and ancillaries such as loading bay gates and ladder gates.

Our stock includes plastic boards which are only used within food and drink factories which are cleaned and isolated from all of our other stock to conform with food hygiene and safety.

We purchase only from reputable suppliers who can supply us with conformity sheets.

All our scaffold boards and any timber we use is purchased from a supplier that is audited to meet the requirements of PEFC certification. In addition, our scaffold boards are machine stress graded to 1.5m centres giving additional strength and confidence in the materials we supply.

Materials are checked for quality on loading, before use, and again on return to our depot.

The materials that we deem to not conform to our company standards are recycled with local companies that will reuse and/or recycle our materials which we occasionally advertise on our social media platforms.

Accreditations

We are proud to be members of the NASC. We undergo their extensive audit procedure at regular intervals. We are assessed by SMAS, CHAS and SafeContractor.
